Require demographic disaggregation of model performance data as a definition-of-done criteria. If your model performs 15% worse on a subgroup, that's a blocker — not a backlog item.

Embed Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) into your discovery phase. Partner with your security team at the architecture stage not after you've already built the feature.
